Výstava: Tereza Antolová: Mezi

Mezi tělem a zemí, mezi pádem a dotykem, mezi minulostí a budoucností, mezi hranicemi lidského a nelidského. Sádrové nohy balancují na hraně, zdánlivě odloučené od přírodních materiálů a hlíny pod nimi: matérie, ze které se rodíme, kráčíme po ní, a do níž se opět noříme v závěru našich životů. Tereza Antolová nám v instalaci Mezi připomíná, že jsme všichni součástí širší sítě vztahů. Vybízí k uvědomění si přítomného okamžiku a jeho konfrontaci s plynutím času. Nakonec jsme všichni jen zrnka prachu, která se na nějaký čas stávají člověkem.
V rámci Brněnské muzejní noci proběhnou komentované prohlídky s autorkou, která zároveň povede workshop zaměřený na práci s hlínou.

Between the body and the earth, between falling and touching, between the past and the future, between the boundaries of the human and the non-human. Plaster legs balance at the edge, seemingly detached from the natural elements and clay beneath them: the matter from which we are born, upon which we walk, and into which we return at the end of our lives. In her installation In Between, Tereza Antolová reminds us that we are all part of a broader network of relations. She invites us to recognise the present moment and face it within the flow of time. In the end, we are all just specks of dust that become human for a time.
As part of Brno Museum Night, there will be guided tours with the artist, who will also lead a workshop focused on working with clay.
